Sales Manager USA/Canada

 

ICEBERG is an IT company specializing in the field of data analytics, providing enhanced sports analytics and high-end deliverables to a wide array of clients.
 

We are looking for a Sales Manager who would be tasked with driving revenues in their designated territory (USA or Canada). Primary activities will be to ensure 100% coverage of the entire market (8,500+ teams), manage the commission-based sales agent team (within their territory), and make sure the ICEBERG brand is seen and heard in all areas of the hockey community, the salespeople will be tasked with not only net new deals but also upselling, resigning and extending the current clientele.

Requirements:

 

  • Great sales skills: including cold calling, door-opening, building relationships, Closing deals, and making demo appointments.

  • Great understanding of hockey and analytics: ideally with a background in the game of hockey.

  • Posses great social skills: these will allow them to rapidly grow this network in settings such as conventions, conferences, and other events as well as through strategic planning.

  • Structured thinker, Self-Disciplined, Self-Organized, Responsible and Proactive.

  • This person should be a do-er, excited to join a start-up atmosphere and build.

  • Flexible: should have the ability to work remotely, travel across America.

  • Creative: able to find solutions and think outside-of-the-box to maneuver around the sales cycle and show our value in different unique ways - sometimes even a different way with each specific account.

  • It would be a bonus if this person also has a business background as well.

  • It would also be a bonus if they possess a strong pre-existing network of contact within a variety of leagues.

Responsibilities:

 

This person would be responsible to manage the growth of the entire product suite but primarily ICEBERG LITE. Most of the sales will be done without any face-to-face interaction.
